How we work
Connection
Needs assessment, vetted factory matching, and three introductions to Portugal's finest manufacturers. We set up initial communication and make sure it's the right fit.
Connection + Sampling
Everything in Connection, plus tech pack review, sample coordination, two rounds of revisions, and quality control inspection before samples ship to you.
Full Production Management
End-to-end: timeline management, weekly updates with photos, in-factory quality control inspections, first shipment oversight, and logistics coordination. We walk the floor so you don't have to.
Monthly Retainer
Dedicated support, priority factory access, monthly factory visit reports, ongoing quality control, and material sourcing. Your production department, in Porto.
Why Portugal
Europe's best-kept manufacturing secret
Made in EU
Premium positioning without Italian or French prices. Your customers value this.
Small MOQs
As low as 50 units. Test, iterate, scale. No 1000-unit gambles.
Vertical Integration
Fabric to finished garment under one roof. Faster turns, tighter control.
Sustainability
EU-regulated labor and environmental standards. Not optional — built in.
Nearshoring
EST time zone overlap. 4–6 week lead times. Not 12 weeks from Shenzhen.
Quality
Premium craftsmanship at 30–50% less than Italian equivalents.

About
On the ground in Porto
With a career spanning manufacturing, quality control, product development, and factory relations, Maxine brings firsthand experience to every client relationship.
After years of working with factories across Asia and Europe, she recognized Portugal's unique position at the intersection of luxury craftsmanship and modern efficiency — and the gap between what Portugal can deliver and what international brands know about it.
Today, Maxine operates from Porto, maintaining daily contact with factory owners, pattern makers, and sample coordinators. This physical presence means faster response times, better negotiation leverage, and a truly hands-on approach that's impossible from afar.
The difference is being ON the ground — not just visiting, but living and breathing the Portuguese manufacturing ecosystem every single day.
