What we do

Connection

We start by understanding your brand — your product categories, target price points, volume expectations, and quality standards. Then we match you with the right Portuguese factories from our vetted network. You receive three tailored factory introductions with detailed profiles covering specialties, MOQs, lead times, and brands they've produced for. We facilitate initial conversations, translate where needed, and make sure both sides are aligned on expectations before any commitment is made.

Sourcing & Sampling

Once a factory match is made, we manage the entire sampling process — starting with materials. We source the right materials from Portuguese and European suppliers, identifying options that meet your quality, sustainability, and price requirements. Because the factories, textile mills, tanneries, and trim manufacturers all sit within a small geographic footprint around Porto, the entire supply chain is unusually sustainable — materials don't travel halfway across the world before they become a garment. We review your tech packs and provide feedback before anything is cut. We coordinate sample production at the factories, act as the point of contact between you and the factory's pattern makers, and oversee three rounds of revisions to get the fit, construction, and finish exactly right. Before samples ship to you, we inspect them in person — checking stitching, measurements, fabric hand-feel, and overall quality. You receive photos and detailed notes so you know exactly what's arriving at your door.

Full Production Management

End-to-end oversight of your production run from purchase order to delivery. We manage production timelines, conduct weekly on-site factory visits, and send you progress updates with photos at every stage. We perform quality control inspections during cutting, sewing, and finishing — catching issues before they become problems. We oversee the first shipment's packing and logistics coordination, ensuring labeling, documentation, and freight are handled correctly. Throughout, you have a single point of contact who is physically on the factory floor, representing your interests as if they were your own employee.

On the ground in Porto

With a career spanning manufacturing, quality control, product development, and factory relations, Maxine brings firsthand experience to every client relationship.

After years of working with factories across Asia and Europe, she recognized Portugal's unique position at the intersection of luxury craftsmanship and modern efficiency — and the gap between what Portugal can deliver and what international brands know about it.

Today, Maxine operates from Porto, maintaining daily contact with factory owners, pattern makers, and sample coordinators. This physical presence means faster response times, better negotiation leverage, and a truly hands-on approach that's impossible from afar.

The difference is being ON the ground — not just visiting, but living and breathing the Portuguese manufacturing ecosystem every single day.
